PALM BEACH JERK & CARIBBEAN CULTURE FESTIVAL
Whenever I have the opportunity to incorporate a trip with island music I get very excited!! Here is one I’ll be attending at the end of the month. This festival features a performance by Caribbean artists and sampling and purchasing of jerk dishes. The artists performing this year are Busy Signal, Cocoa Tea and Lust. The prices vary with three different options: general admission, jerk experience and VIP. I’m looking forward to the concert since it will be my first time seeing the three artists/group perform. I actually went to Orlando, Florida in November for the Caribbean Splash but a handful of artists didn’t perform so I’m giving it another try and hoping it is all I expect it to be.
Nearby attractions: CityPlace and Clematis by Night
CityPlace is West Palm Beach’s premier shopping, dining and entertainment destination.
Clematis By Night is a long-running open air concert series that features popular local bands, right at the end of Clematis street in Downtown West Palm. Nearly every Thursday night year-round is a great band or artist with lots of food and beverage vendors to choose from.
Stay tuned for my West Palm Beach review, since this is my first girls trip destination and I’ve got a few things lined up to do while I’m there.
For reggae artists who run into this post, please check out my post on “ways we can collaborate”. I am not a promoter, just a reggae music lover. If you are interested in organizing a meet and greet in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I am here to help. You can also email me at bluecrushtravel@gmail.com.
