Cruise in 2019!

If you’ve never been on a cruise, let’s make it a goal for 2019!  Overcome any fear or reservations you may have about cruising.  I was once hesitant to go on a cruise based on my Titanic fear, however I overcame it and never would I have experienced world class travel if I did not follow my adventurous nature!  First of all, start small.  You can begin with a two or three night cruise, to get a feel for it like I did, then go from there!

The number one reason why people like to cruise is because they love that they can visit multiple locations and the number two reason is pampering.  My first cruise was on the Carnival Victory, short and economical.  My second was last month on the “Welcome To Jamrock Reggae Cruise” aboard the Royal Caribbean’s Independence of the Seas.

Let me help you get started on some cruising goals for 2019!  Here are a few good options to get you started, if you’ve never tried it or if you are open to cruising solo.  ALL ABOARD!!

Ladies night aboard the Paradise Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line leaves out of Port of Palm Beach.  This cruise will take you to the Grand Bahama Island and is a great first look at the Bahamas and way to start your cruising adventures.  The great thing about this cruise line is they offer solo traveler pricing, not the normal double occupancy charge that almost all other cruise ships have.  This is an affordable option and a great way to experience a short cruise.

Sky Princess Inaugural Getaway is a three day cruise that sails from Fort Lauderdale to Princess Cays, Bahamas.  Unfortunately this cruise has already sold out for its inaugural ship date in December 2019 but this is a heads up for Spring 2020.

Lastly, Carnival Liberty has a four night cruise that leaves from Port Canaveral in Orlando that stops in Nassau and Princess Cays.

Other options include West Coast cruises with Princess Cruises that include San Diego, Santa Barbara, San Francisco and Catalina Island.  They also have short cruises that goes to Cozumel, Mexico sailing from Fort Lauderdale.

If you have any other suggestions on 2-4 night cruises, please share them below.  Let’s cruise!
